Build Stronger Families Through Religion

Family is a very important matter in the world. You cannot live without family. Not only that, but no one will be able to procreate and mold the future generation without it!

But there are some complications when having family. One of the more common issues between  family would be separation and divorce. Divorce comes from heated arguments that lead to the parents legally separating and breaking the bond of their marriage, leaving a broken family and confused children with laws to help the whole family properly adjust to the new change.

Divorce is unfortunate, as it isn’t only a burden to the spouses who will need to file a case and spend money and time on divorce papers, but also on the children, who will have negative psychological effects because of the whole ordeal. But studies show that there may be ways the West can reduce divorces and build stronger families. Through religion.

You might be wondering: How does religion have to do with stronger family bonds and a greater love between spouses? Religion and culture help bridge a gap between differences, also molding a wholesome family scene. It helps families spend time together through wonderful moments, such as praying and instilling values into your children, such as faith and love.

Through learning and practicing about religion, it brings a whole new opportunity and perspective. Families will know their priorities, making sure that their loved ones will always come first, that they should not sin and follow temptation, and that God will always be with them by their side to keep them positive and afloat, despite the many problems they may face.

A family is not free of fights, but through religion, they will be able to see through it without quitting and separating. Children will begin learning the new values from religion, following the commandments, praying for guidance, and thinking more positively. Not only do they learn new perspectives, but they are taught not to sin and to love their family, this molding a better future with less crime and more love for their family.

Religions teaches a family how to stick together no matter how tough the world can be. It teaches love and the importance and sacred meaning of marriage, thus helping reduce divorce and improve on family ties.

Opening the Minds of People of Different Religions

We are one world that suffers from a host of problems. And where do these problems come from? DISCRIMINATION. We are a nation divided into different religions, cultures, races, and color. While there is no stopping us from choosing our beliefs and practicing our culture, there should always be diversity in the different nationalities around the world. This will help bring peace, to find a common ground between our differences, and to solve problems through what we think is best for ALL of us.

Unfortunately, we suffer from stereotypes and judgment, and no one can be saved from that. No matter the religion or nationality we are, we face teases and judgment because of the lack of knowledge people have in another religion or culture. One-minded people can only stick to one opinion and refuse to move, no matter how much we try to unite.

And without the open-mindedness of other people, we will only stick to one solution that no one agrees with. WIth only one or a few parties agreeing instead of the whole bunch, we will never have peace and diversity, continuing to suffer from the problems the whole world faces, such as war, starvation, poverty, and discrimination.

So, how can we solve all that? Through opening the minds of people, of course! How do we open the minds of people? Through teaching them about the world, not only in history or country facts, but to teach them all about the different religions and cultures. Once we teach everyone around the world about their own culture and others as well, they will soon open their eyes to how other religions and nationalities see the world.

Once we open our eyes to the different perspectives, we will soon learn that there are different solutions we can suggest that would benefit the WHOLE world. We will also be able to break the barriers and stereotypes, soon living in a world without judgment. And lastly, we will be able to achieve a path to a better word through straight and friendly communication, without the guns and without the fights.

We will not be able to fully educate the people without the help of those who are passionate to raise awareness of their own religion and race. So we urge the people to be proud and take a stand towards what they believe in.

Teaching our Children Role Models of Different Culture

Religion is a touchy subject that many schools and parents don’t really teach their children. While they do instill values and religious practices, they do not open their eyes to other religions, resulting in children being closed-minded and only thinking one way. It’s a sad reality that we face, seeing our own children discriminating other religions because they have little to no knowledge of it.

Another thing to point out would be the lack of understanding or respect we have with our religious differences. No matter who we are or the religion we practice, we tend to scoff or look down to others, thinking that “we are the better ones”. This isn’t a great act to show to our children, since it ends up with them thinking and acting the same way!

This discrimination problem goes the same with races and colors, as we tend to only have one stereotype towards each nationality. And most of the time, they aren’t stereotypes you’d like to hear.

In order to break these stereotypes and look past our differences, we must teach our children religion and nationalities. And it isn’t just through history, but to introduce to them heroes and heroines from all religion and races from around the world.

Teaching our children role models of different culture will help them understand and admire the culture for what it is. They’ll be able to open their eyes to a whole new perspective, seeing that there is a whole new and beautiful world out there to explore.

It will also help break the barrier between colors and religion in the future, because with our kids knowing and understanding the different cultures around the world, they will then be able to properly communicate and interact with others WITHOUT discrimination, uniting as one body for the future generations to come.

Unfortunately, schools stick to one curriculum. This is why we ask for change, to slowly introduce subjects that involve more history and culture. It doesn’t only help with improving our children’s knowledge, but it will also enhance their communication skills and the way they understand the different things and people they will be interacting with in the future.

Through changing the curriculum and teaching our kids heroes of different cultures, we will then have newfound respect and admiration, without the judgement.
